Networking that Scales to Your Battery Volume

Whether you test 10 batteries a week or 1,000 — the IQ^ten fits your battery volume. One Remote Console Unit (RCU) supports from 5 to 80 stations without the need for bridging products or intermediate devices. Larger systems may be networked with a bridge.

Data Tracking with BattTrak™

Log your batteries with a bar code and track battery performance by serial number, manufacturer and field location. View performance on graphs and create custom analysis profiles. Reports allow you to easily recall batteries due for testing, check test history and track battery failures.

Program/Recall Test and Service Settings

Use the iQten Remote Console to program charge/discharge voltage, currents, timing. Also set test cycles, lithium ion charge/discharge values. Name battery test programs and recall with a bar code scanner (supplied).

Test and Display Your Battery Capacity

The iQten "ANALYZE" mode charges and discharges your battery while measuring the removed capacity. The iQten does this in 1/2 the time for today's higher capacity batteries. The RCU LCD readout displays the results as mAh.  You can also set Pass/Fail criteria, printout test results or capture the results on your PC with BattTrak.

Condition/Service "Bad" Batteries

The "CONDITION" mode restores capacity in many cases by recycling the battery through three consecutive charge/discharge cycles, removing crystal growth.  The iQten performs the condition process for high capacity batteries in 1/3 the time of standard battery maintenance products. You condition quicker and get more use from many batteries that might otherwise be rejected.

Cycle Test and Form New Batteries

New batteries many exhibit voltage depression (acts like memory effect.) "CYCLE TEST" mode forms and tests new batteries while monitoring capacity. When the battery reaches an acceptable level, set during programming, the test is complete. Cycle Test also checks a battery's life expectancy.

 Test Your Radio Charger

Charge your battery in your OEM charger. Then use the iQten "Discharge" mode to discharge the battery and measure the capacity delivered by your radio charger.

 Your radio charger is suspect if the measured capacity is significantly below the battery rating. Again you will get the benefit of faster test times for your high capacity batteries.
